Jason Zellmer

A Christ-follower, pastor, church planter, husband, father, and avid runner. Jason served as pastor-elderat matthias lot church, which he planted in 2005 with his long-time friend Marc Sikma. Currently he is planting a new church, Peine Ridge Church, in Wentzville, Missouri with two other pastor-friends (Nathan Smith and Jason Myers).  He also serves on the boards of Saint Louis Metro Church Planting, Saint Louis FamilyCamp, and Daughters of Grace Dance Studio. In 2003 Jason graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. He also has training from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jason has been married to his beautiful wife Heather since July of 2001. In their 8 short years of marriage, God has blessed them with 4 beautiful children: Benjamin (7), Olivia (5), Julia (4), and Isaac (2). Outside of leading his family and planting Peine Ridge Church, Jason’s favorite things include reading, running, hunting with Benjamin, and spending time with friends. Men that have helped shape Jason’s faith and love for God include his dad, John Piper, Timothy Keller, and a whole bunch of other dead guys. At Saint Louis FamilyCamp, Jason’s role is casting vision and empowering the team to use their God given gifts.

Nathan Smith

Nathan previously served as the Worship Arts Pastor at 2Rivers Church in Wentzville, MO, as well as serving as the lead worshiper for Mosaic, a gathering of “20 somethings” in St. Peters, MO. He has been serving in various roles leading musical worship for over ten years. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with an emphasis in Church Music, from Missouri Baptist University. He is now helping plant Peine Ridge Church.  Nathan was joined by the covenant of marriage to his wife, Katie, in 2002 and looks forward to growing old with her. They have four children, Morgan (2003), Miriam (2005), Noah (2007), and Gideon (2009), and pray that they will be blessed with many more. Nathan spends his free time in striving to shepherd his family well, and reads every God-centered book that crosses his path. He has a blog, where he publicly wrestles with questions such as, “Is the role of Worship Arts Pastor a Biblically defensible one?”. Nathan’s responsibilities as Director of Worship Arts include planning, overseeing, and leading all the times of musical worship at STL FamilyCamp, with a view to see God glorified as His Word is sung and responded to by those He has chosen to proclaim His excellencies.

Jason Myers

Jason is a husband, father, pastor-elder, and aspiring writer.  He is currently planting a church in Wentzville, MO.  He has a Religion degree with a concentration in General Biblical Studies from Missouri Baptist University.  He also has training from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been joyfully married to his best friend, Lindsay, since 2004.  They have two sons, Ethan (2007) and Carter (2008).  Other than spending as much time as he can with his wife and boys, Jason loves to read Scripture-saturated and Theologically-solid books, especially from “The Johns” (Bunyan, Piper, Edwards, Owen, Calvin) and others like them.  Jason has a blogwhere he writes frequently.  As the Director of Scriptural Faithfulness, it is his responsibility to help write and maintain the radically Biblical focus of St. Louis FamilyCamp.

Darren Casper

Darren is a husband, father, missionary, lead pastor, and elder. He is the lead pastor at The Church at Bevo in south city, St. Louis.  Darren also serves as director of PLANT Saint Louis and ethniCITY, church planting initiatives within the St. Louis Metro Baptist Association.  He has a degree in Communications, minor in Business, from Southwest Baptist University as well as a M.DIV from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Kelli (Wells), formerly of Newcastle, Oklahoma, and Darren have been married nineteen years and have two sons, Jordan and Zac. Darren has a passion for church planting in an increasingly ethnically diverse city as well throughout the world, having partnered in church planting in Mexico, Romania, India, and future work in Sarajevo, Bosnia.  As the Director of Networking Operations, he will assist in fundraising and awareness for Saint Louis FamilyCamp.

Bill Asher

Bill is a husband, father and sinner, who is also passionate for the arts and theology. Bill has worked creatively for a variety of projects from Christian bands like Spoken, Living Sacrifice, Family Force 5 and Flyleaf to ministerial projects like Stephen Baldwin’s Livin’ It and Communications Team Lead Servant for Peine Ridge Church. An interest in photography, video, web and graphic design keep him connected to the artistic culture as well as provide an avenue to express creativity towards the Creator. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Joyce, in 1996 and together they enjoy the challenge of parenting two wild boys, Brave and Brayden. Bill also enjoys theology, motorcycles, hockey, drums, camping, blogging, playing with his boys, enjoying life with his wife, and reading great works from courageous men of God. Bill has realized the importance of sound doctrine for sound family worship and is privileged to have the opportunity to serve and share as God leads this movement called Saint Louis FamilyCamp.

Stacey Marshall

director of business affairs

Stacey is a sinner who is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, which is a gift from God.  She is currently employed by a Forbes Global 2000 company as an Accounting Manager.  Previous to her current position, she worked for a Big 4 Public Accounting firm for seven years (4 years of tax experience and 3 years of audit experience).  She has an Accounting degree from Christian Brothers University.  She also serves on the finance team of Peine Ridge Church.  Stacey spends her free time hanging with family and friends, reading, baking cakes, hunting, and praying for what God has in store for her next.  As the Director of Business Affairs, Stacey holds the primary role of ensuring that Saint Louis FamilyCamp remains above reproach in every financial obligation.

Marc Sikma

Marc was raised in Kankakee, Illinois.  After living a short while in Iowa, Marc landed in Vandalia, Illinois where he spent his athletic high school years.  He met his beautiful wife Heidi when they were only 12 years old, began dating when they were 16, and were married at 22 after they both had graduated from Mckendree University.  Marc and Heidi have 2 children, Avery (August of 2006) and Dawson (May of 2009).  Together they live in downtown St. Charles with an obsession  for the city… it’s people, it’s history, and it’s potential.  Marc spent 7 years as a youth pastor before joining with Jason Zellmer to plant Matthias’ Lot in 2005.  Marc spends his time loving his family, serving people in his community, enjoying and encouraging his friends, studying the Word, and exercising his God-given talents in creative media.  Marc’s primary role as the Director of Camp Relations is to ensure that all camp leaders, preachers, and volunteers feel loved and encouraged during their service with Saint Louis FamilyCamp.
