Andy Chambers

Andy Chambers serves as Vice President for Student Development and Professor of Bible at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis. He earned his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and his MDiv and PhD from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a focus on New Testament studies and preaching. He has done additional work at Baylor University and Harvard University. He speaks regularly in church and conference settings and writes for a variety of Christian publications. He is currently working on a book for Broadman and Holman titled Exemplary Life: A Theology of Church Life in Acts, due out in 2012.

He and his wife Diana have been married nearly twenty four years and have four precious children; Amanda (19), Bethany (16), Eric (14), and Michael (7). They live in St. Louis, Missouri and are members of West County Community Church. Go Cardinals!
